June 21, 1999 Dear Kenneth: Thank you for speaking at Tactical Conference Seven; "Quantifying
Quality, Marketing Your Commitment". Your presentation was very well
received by our audience. The information was timely and informative,
and well delivered. Many of the attendees indicated that they appreciated
having the opportunity to interact with you during your presentation and
also at the roundtable. Respectfully Yours, Nov. 28, 2001 Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule on October 31, 2001 to present a program to our members on arbitration and mediation. As you and I have discussed, the advantages of using mediation as the first lien of solution solving are not widely understood in the real estate sector. Therefore, you provided a very valuable service to our association members. Although I was ill and unable to attend, I did have very positive feedback from our members regarding your presentation. They learned the difference between mediation and arbitration, as it relates to the contracts they use in their business. The mock mediation and arbitration provided them with a better understanding of how the strategies work in "real" situations. I look forward to an ongoing working relationship between The Monterey County Association of REALTORS and your office. We will continue to educate as well as encourage our members to be more effective in their communications as a means of eliminating possible disputes but we will also encourage mediation as the second means of resolution. Sincerely, Sandy Haney |
